The Base Plate System includes an ARCA Base Plate and ARCA Riser that positions the camera at the appropriate optical height for mounting accessories and allows for quick setup transitions. The Riser Plate can be used alone with the or ; the Base Plate is required for tripod or dovetail systems.

The ARCA Riser Plate includes a Lens Mount Adapter with an adjustable rail to distribute any strain from the lens mount to the camera body. This Adapter also prevents the shifting of accessories (like the ) while adjusting lenses. Side-facing ¼”-20 mounting points let you keep accessories attached while transitioning between setups.
